Doctor Ese Stacey
Consultant Dr Ese Stacey MBBS, MRCGP, MSc (Sports Med), Dip US (distinction), FFSEM(UK).
Doctor Ese enjoys treating complex musculoskeletal conditions, which have been resistant to previous treatment. This interest grew from her work within the elite sporting world, with a particular focus on injuries caused through ruby, football and triathlons.
She started her career as a doctor, training at St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School, London (now part of Imperial College), qualifying in 1990. Today, Doctor Ese enjoys working within private medical practice based in both London and Brighton. Alongside this she is a Senior Clinical Lecture at The Academic Department of Sport and Exercise Medicine at The Royal London Hospital.
Having spent her career focusing upon treating complex musculoskeletal conditions, Doctor Ese developed an interest in how these issues link to the gut, nutrition and environment. She believes these elements of life are important contributing factors in joint and soft tissue conditions that are resistant to conventional management.
Doctor Ese has a specialist interest in treating conditions such as fibromyalgia, non-rheumatological multiple joint pains, recurrent stress fractures, back pain, muscle aches and fatigue.
